    As this is summer season, besides dehydration lip cracks is the most common disease that prevail in this season. Due to high humidity and heat, the water content in the body gets absorbed by them quickly. The lips dry up easily if you don’t drink large amount of water every day. Dry air, cold temperatures and wind all have a drying effect on skin by drawing moisture away from the body. On an average, man has to drink 4-6 liters of water every day and a woman has to drink 3-5 liters water. If you drink less than this you are prone to crack your lips. Generally, lip balms are used to relieve chapped or dry lips. The primary purpose of lip balm is to provide an occlusive layer on the lip surface to seal moisture in lips and protect them from external exposure. Try to apply this lip balm directly as it is more effective than applying with your hand.
